In Home Caregiver

Solace Hill is seeking compassionate, reliable caregivers to provide essential non-medical support to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. If you're someone who finds purpose in helping others live with dignity and independence, we’d love to meet you.

Position Overview

As a Home Care Aide, you'll follow a customized care plan that supports clients with their daily routines while offering emotional connection and practical support. You will not perform medical services, but your role is deeply impactful in enhancing the quality of life for those we serve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance

  • Help clients safely move around their homes and assist with transfers as needed

  • Prepare simple, nourishing meals based on dietary preferences

  • Encourage independence wherever possible, per the client’s care plan

  • Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional support

  • Keep the home tidy through light housekeeping tasks (laundry, dishes, etc.)

  • Drive clients to appointments or run errands as needed

  • Prompt clients to take their medications (no administering or handling)

  • Observe and document changes in condition and share updates with supervisors

  • Participate in team check-ins and required ongoing training

What We're Looking For

  • Reliable and empathetic caregivers with strong communication and observation skills

  • Individuals with a heart for service and the ability to treat each client with dignity and respect

  • Must be physically able to assist with daily tasks and transfers (lifting up to 30 lbs; occasional client support up to 200 lbs with assistance)

  • Comfortable driving and assisting clients in/out of vehicles

  • Capable of maintaining clear, accurate notes and respecting client confidentiality

Requirements

  • Access to reliable transportation and ability to travel between client homes

  • CPR & First Aid Certification

  • Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card

  • Recent negative TB test

  • High school diploma or GED preferred

  • Basic knowledge of personal care, home safety, and healthy meal prep

  • Free from health issues that may compromise client safety

  • Previous experience in caregiving or related healthcare fields is preferred, particularly in geriatrics or inpatient settings

Preferred But Not Required

  • Bilingual a plus

  • CNA Certification
